The subsea manifold fabrication required Super Duplex pipe and fittings that were suitable for a demanding offshore subsea application, with material specified to ensure NORSOK compliance with project requirements. 

The challenge extended beyond just sourcing; the material had to be supported by comprehensive quality documentation, heat and lot traceability, and additional testing, including DPI and UT inspection necessary for subsea service. With fabrication set on a fixed schedule, the timing of delivery was equally critical.

To meet the project's subsea service requirements, STS arranged additional third-party testing and inspection, including DPI and UT, ensuring the supplied material was fully aligned with the project specification before dispatch.

To protect the fabrication schedule, STS arranged air freight delivery, absorbing the logistics complexity to eliminate delay risk for the client.

Compliant, fully documented Super Duplex pipe material was delivered to the fabrication yard ahead of the critical path, with all additional testing and inspection requirements satisfied.
