Steel Trading Solutions is a specialist steel trading business headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. We supply technically demanding steel packages, including specialised steel products, to major energy infrastructure, resource, and infrastructure projects across Australia and South East Asia. Our offerings range from upstream oil and gas and subsea structures to offshore wind foundations, marine piling, and mining sectors infrastructure.
We are not a general distributor. We are a project partner engaged early, technically capable, and accountable from mill order to site delivery.
Our Story
STS was founded by directors with deep roots in international steel trading across the APAC region. With careers spanning senior business development and supply chain roles at leading international steel trading houses, including years based in Singapore managing major oil and gas projects across Southeast Asia and Australia, the STS team brings a level of market knowledge, mill access, and project experience that is rare in the Australian market.
We established STS in Perth specifically to serve the growing demand for specialised steel products in Australia's energy infrastructure and mining sectors — sectors where specification complexity, schedule pressure, and supply chain risk require more than just a warehouse.
